I had the pleasure of photographing this historic estate. The property is staggeringly beautiful. After taking in the meadow views dotted with mature Oak and Maple trees I decided to shoot the barn first. I think ‘barn’ might be a misnomer in that most barns I’ve encountered don’t feature a three bay garage with radiant heat floors, completely re-pointed stonework, gorgeous, towering office space and an enormous main room featuring a gym space. It’s truly a piece of art considering the property predates the American Revolution. Needless to say, the rest of the property offered more delightful sights, sounds and even smells (it turns out that renovated barn wood smells great). This property is a quintessential example of a luxury country property.

Pass through the gated entrance and wind your way to the top of a hill where a striking, European-influenced country house has a commanding presence Inside, a wide foyer opens to a grand-scale floor plan as well suited to entertaining as it is to family living. A beautiful example of high luxury, equestrian property.
