Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to congratulate our very own Stephanie A. Biello for her inauguration as President of the Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors for 2020. The Greater Philadelphia Association of Realtors is an organization representing the metro area with 3,000 members.
Other inductees this evening, sworn in by Charlie Oppler, were Jacob R. Markovitz as President-Elect, Linda Amsterdam as Vice President, and Linc Slipakoff as Treasurer. Sworn in by Allan Domb, Stephanie Biello succeeds Chris Somers, was GPAR President in 2019.
Mr. Domb, aside from running his own real estate brokerage and owning a significant amount of real estate in Philadelphia, is Philadelphia City Councilman-at-Large. Mr. Oppler is President-Elect of the National Association of Realtors and runs Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty in New Jersey.
Mr. Domb shared that President Biello has been preparing for this role for years, having completed the Leadership Development Program of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and serving as a Director of PAR with specific work on strategic planning and governance committees.
President Biello expressed gratitude to the GPAR members and leaders who were present for the event, to the industry that has given her so much in terms of professional fulfillment and to her family without whose support none of her success would be possible.
