Moving Forward, Together: Rentals Needed

Happy Tuesday to everyone! We are happy the sun is shining here in the Philadelphia area and temps are in the high-50s.

RENTALS NEEDED

We are still actively fielding calls from out-of-area residents who are seeking rental properties in Pennsylvania. Our agents are working as quickly as possible to accommodate requests. If you are a homeowner who has a property you would like to offer for rent, especially for a shorter term such as six months, please call the Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty office closest to you for guidance. Our administrative assistants are answering calls and will connect you with an agent. Browse our agent list here.

NEW LISTINGS

905 N 5th street living room
The living room at 905 N. 5th Street, a property just listed by Jason Kravitz in our Rittenhouse Square office.

While we are under restrictions and cannot accompany showings of properties, and inspectors and appraisers are not able to visit properties, we have launched some new listings complete with virtual tours. Contracts can be amended to extend inspection periods to accommodate our current situation. Check out this move-in-now house in Philadelphia’s Northern Liberties neighborhood, just listed by Jason Kravitz in our Rittenhouse Square office. Here’s the virtual tour so you can really see just how pristine the condition is. If you don’t know Northern Liberties, read more in our area guide to the neighborhood.

In Bucks County, Mary Walrond just launched 121 King Road in Chalfont. Take a virtual tour of this sun-filled residence just outside Doylestown in Bucks County, Pa.

Stay tuned for a spectacular Main Line home coming on the market. Soon to be listed by Doug Pearson, this property is a 6000SF stone carriage house in a tucked-away Bryn Mawr location. Totally updated with designer interiors, beautiful gardens, a pool, separate office for work-from-home professionals…and walkable to central Bryn Mawr, for when we are all able to return to going to restaurants and supporting our local businesses.

Keeping Up With the News

Speaking of supporting local businesses, one resource many people in Central and Upper Bucks rely on week in, week out, is the Bucks County Herald. Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty just made a donation to this family-owned paper as it seeks community support in lieu of the tremendous drop in ad revenue due to the pandemic. If you would like more information on this initiative, here is the info. Even a $5 donation is much appreciated.

Congratulations to Dianne Burkitt

Hot off the press: Dianne has put her listing at 2336 Fox Meadow Drive in Allentown under contract today, showing it is possible to keep business moving while keeping safe. We also have had settlements continue this week with five more scheduled to take place. Of course, these will be handled with everyone keeping their distance, using their own pens, using electronic document transfer, etc.

Stay well, everyone. We will move forward, together.
