Today agents put properties under agreement (great work, Heidi Logan and Patty Patterson!) and at least one closing took place (well done, Kevin Steiger!). All of this business was in process by the time the state-ordered shutdown began due to COVID-19. In the meantime, we are working to help agents stay in touch with clients not only on business matters but with a little fun, too.

Philadelphia is world class in so many ways, perhaps no more so than in the art held in its museums. Now that most of us are stuck at home, it’s the perfect time to learn more about those pieces via the museums’ digital presentations. We shared links to the collections with our agents so they could share with their clients. View the piece. Included are the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Barnes Collection, the Franklin Institute, the Penn Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, plus links to other museums outside the city.
Today’s Featured Listing

One listing recently launched by Kim Whetzel and team that is pretty well suited to an art collector and is classic Chestnut Hill is 8500 Seminole Street. “Greenacre” is on two acres with a pool, grand-scale rooms, a huge updated kitchen and architectural details befitting a house designed by an architect as his own residence. You can read about that here. It’s also walkable to the train station.
If you are not familiar with Philadelphia’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood, now is great time to read more about it. If you’re coming out of New York City or Brooklyn, you’ll be impressed by how green the area is — it lives up to its “Garden District” moniker. Yet it’s only 20 minutes to Center City, and its streets are lined in historical houses along with some newer construction, too.
