An Attitude of Gratitude In This Holiday Season

In a year like no other, we at Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty certainly feel like we have much to be thankful for. We recognize that there are many people in the communities we serve who are

struggling due to the impact of Covid-19, and therefore this year we have selected a number of food banks to donate money and non-perishable items to. Many of these organizations are reporting three times their normal demand since March 2020, when the pandemic began affecting businesses throughout the country.

We are including at the end of this post a list of organizations focused on food distribution or minimizing food insecurity in each of our primary market areas. We hope that those who are able to will remember those less fortunate — in many cases these are people who never needed community food bank support before.

We will collect non-perishable items at each of our offices and will make deliveries throughout the holiday season. For those who wish to know more about how resources for each of these organizations are used, we recommend reviewing each on guidestar.org (free registration required) where links to each organization’s IRS Form 990 is included.

On behalf of the agents, ownership and staff at Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, we wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving. Let’s all appreciate what is good in the moment and look ahead to a time when we once again can gather safely with loved ones and friends.
