Donald Pearson, chairman, Kurfiss Sotheby’s International Realty, announced the 2021 top agents by sales volume for the company’s four offices. They are:
- Lisa Yakulis (Main Line)
- Kim Whetzel (Chestnut Hill)
- Wendie Steffens (Chestnut Hill)
- Cary Simons (Main Line)
- Lisa Frushone (New Hope)
- Linda Danese (New Hope)
- Kevin Steiger (New Hope)
- Caryn Black (New Hope)
- Douglas Pearson (Center City Philadelphia)
- Chris Preston (New Hope)
- Dana Lansing (New Hope)
“We are extremely fortunate to have strong agents in each of our markets,” says Pearson. “The market last year had challenges, particularly in terms of inventory, but our agents were able to gain market share in some regions and complete some significant, market-leading sales in others. Many agents, even those outside the top 10, had their best years ever in the business. I am very proud of the work all of our agents have done to create a record-setting year for us in 2021.”
Record-Setting Sales

The top sale in the company was handled by Franz Rabauer of the Center City Philadelphia office. He sold Guildford, in Wyndmoor, Montgomery County, closing it at $8,200,000. It was the highest sale in Montgomery County in 2021.
Several agents had record-setting sales in their markets, including Chris Preston and Dana Lansing, who had the seller and buyer, respectively, for a Solebury Township property that sold for $5,000,000, the highest price achieved in the township in 2021.
Lisa Yakulis of the company’s Main Line office had the second-highest sale in Chester County, closing an $8,000,000 sale of a 128-acre farmstead in Newtown Square.
Kim Whetzel, of the company’s Chestnut Hill office, handled a $6,000,000 sale in Chestnut Hill, the top number achieved in the 19118 ZIP code in 2021.
